From XCMG to TEMA: Chinese Engineering Excellence Empowers Libya’s Reconstruction

The Libya Build Benghazi 2026 exhibition has marked a significant milestone in North Africa’s reconstruction, highlighted by a massive presence of China’s leading engineering and manufacturing firms. As Libya enters a critical phase of urban and industrial revitalization, the event served as a high-level platform for the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) to demonstrate its practical impact on regional stability and economic growth.

The exhibition floor was dominated by Chinese industry titans, including XCMG, Liugong, and SANY Heavy Industry. These giants showcased cutting-edge heavy machinery, ranging from advanced excavators to road-building equipment, specifically tailored to the demanding environmental conditions of the Libyan landscape. Their participation underscores a strategic shift toward providing high-end, sustainable equipment for large-scale infrastructure projects across the continent.

A standout feature of the event was the delegation from Quanzhou, China’s premier manufacturing hub that accounts for 80% of the world’s block making machine exports. Among  the notable exhibitors, TEMA Technology captured significant attention with its TM10000 Servo-Vibration Block Machine. The booth experienced an overwhelming surge of visitors, with local contractors and government representatives eager to explore the machine’s high-efficiency servo system. The TM10000’s ability to deliver high output with reduced energy consumption aligns perfectly with Libya’s urgent need for cost-effective, rapid housing solutions.
